Data Protection Policy
1.- Foundation Data:
Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 relating to the Information Society and E-Commerce Services, the FUNDACION PRINCIPE DE ASTURIAS (hereafter FPA) is the owner of the website with the registered domain name "fundacionprincipedeasturias.org" and e-mail address: info@fpa.es
The main office of the FPA is in the Calle General Yagüe, 2-1º, Oviedo, Asturias. Its Fiscal Identification Code is G-33039348.
The FPA figures on the Companies Register of the Board for the Protection of Foundations (Subdirección general del Protectorado de Fundaciones). Its registration number is 90.
2.- Intellectual and industrial property
The source code, graphic designs, images, photographs, sound bites, software, texts and information - namely, the sundry elements of the website - are protected for the FPA by Spanish legislation regarding intellectual and industrial property rights. Notwithstanding users' rights view the above elements and put them to personal use, exploitation of them for commercial purposes is prohibited. In consequence, reproduction and/or publication, whether total or partial, further IT manipulation, distribution, diffusion, modification, transformation and, and so forth, are not allowed without the prior written permission of the owner.
3. Protection of personal data
In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 regarding the protection of personal data, notice is hereby given that some areas of the web (access to intranet, the virtual press room, contact us, and so forth) require the user to provide certain personal details which will become part of files created and updated under the responsibility of the FPA, of the above-mentioned main office address. These files are registered with the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Data. Personal data will be used to provide services in each of the areas, to provide in-house Foundation information, to draw up statistics, and will be used for consultancy and to respond to requests for information on activities and events. All the spaces requesting provision of information must be filled in to gain access to the information and/or content of the different areas. Personal details are provided by the user, who thereby vouches for the truth of his or her statements and is thereby assumed to consent to the data being used for the above-mentioned objectives and the individual objectives of each file.
All personal details provided will be handled in accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 to the benefit of the stakeholder. Notwithstanding the transfer of this information to the authorities when required to do so by law, the information will not be transferred or passed on without the consent of the stakeholder, who will be able to access the file to check personal details, correct them, cancel them, or to deny use by notifying the FPA at the aforementioned address.
The FPA has taken technical and organisational measures in line with current law, to the effect that security levels meet the requirements according to the data provided. Moreover, all technical means and measures available to the FPA have been taken to avoid loss, misuse, alteration or non-authorised access to the data provided us.
The FPA accepts no responsibility for loss, directly or indirectly, caused by or as a consequence of decisions taken based on information posted on its website; furthermore, any information or content may be changed, modified or taken off the website at any time without the legal requirement of prior warning.
