The Youth Choir

The Youth Choir was founded in 1988 and now has about seventy members between the ages of 15 and 21. It is one of the three choirs - Senior, Youth and Childrens' - that make up the Prince of Asturias Foundation's Music Department, where there are over two hundred voices and which also encompasses the activities of the Virtuosos of Moscow Chamber Orchestra. He has since studied choir conducting under Oriol Martorell, Philippe Caillard, Erwin List and Martin Schmidt, and has taken part in several music courses with Helmut Lips and the prestigious English group, "The Scholars".

He has been conductor of the "Siero Musical" Society's choirs for eight years, and has taught music pedagogy since 1985 in his role as the teacher of vocal technique for all the Prince of Asturias Foundation's choirs.
