SPORTS AND CONCORD COMPLETE THE 2008 PRINCE OF ASTURIAS AWARDS NOW IN ITS TWENTY-EIGHTH YEAR
On the 3rd September, the Jury responsible for conferring the 2008 Prince of Asturias Award for Sport bestowed this award on the Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal. These are the last of the Prince of Asturias Awards to be bestowed in their twenty-eighth edition.
TORAZU, BESTOWED WITH THE 2008 EXEMPLARY TOWN OF ASTURIAS AWARD
The village of Torazu is situated in the central- eastern strip of Asturias, in the council of Cabranes.
REGISTRATION PERIOD FOR 2008 PRINCE OF ASTURIAS AWARDS NOW OPEN
17th October is the registration deadline.
The concert took place on 22nd July, in the Prince Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo.
GRACIANO GARCÍA WAS AWARDED THE GOLD MEDAL OF AVILES, HIGHEST DISTINCTION OF THE CITY
The event was held at the Reception Room in the Town Hall of Aviles.
