Over 26,000 people visited the `Olympic Dreams´ exhibition, organised by the Prince of Asturias Foundation and the Olympic Museum, Lausanne
The showing, which opened last July 2nd, was on display at the Cajastur Cultural Centre in Gijon´s Palacio Revillagigedo until September 3rd.

The "Olympic Dreams: A journey through the Olympics and the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports" exhibition, organised by the Prince of Asturias Foundation in conjunction with the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, received a total of 26.135 visits since its opening. The showing, which opened last July 2nd, was on display at the Cajastur Cultural Centre in Gijon´s Palacio Revillagigedo until September 3rd. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince of Asturias Award for Sports Laureates, including Juan Antonio Samaranch (1988), Sergey Bubka (1991), Hassiba Boulmerka (1995) and Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario (1998). The Olympic Museum Lausanne was represented by its director, Francis Gabet, and exhibition commissioner, Rachel Caloz. The Museum has loaned for the exhibition over 450 pieces from its collection, some of which were on display outside of the Museum for the first time.

The Prince of Asturias Foundation Choir performed Mozart´s Mass in C minor, K427 at Madrid´s National Auditorium alongside the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra.
