JEAN DANIEL TO MEET SPAIN´S MEDIA DIRECTORS ON THURSDAY 21ST Meeting to be held on Thursday 21st at 12.30 p.m. at the Principality of Asturias Parliament Building. A limited number of entries are free. French journalist Jean Daniel, 2004 Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities will be meeting sixty-seven media directors from all over Spain this Thursday 21st at 12.30 p.m. at the Principality of Asturias Parliament Building´s Europa Hall. The meeting will be moderated by Luis Rivas, Euronews News and Programmes Director. Jean Daniel will be heading the debate alongside the directors of the Asturian newspapers La Voz de Asturias, El Comercio and La Nueva España and the directors of El Correo, La Voz de Galicia, Heraldo de Aragón, Diario de Navarra, Las Provincias, Diario Montañés and the Ideal de Granada. Other media directors invited to the event will also participate from their seats amongst the public.   News SYMBOLIC PILGRIMAGE TO OVIEDO CATHEDRAL TOMORROW WEDNESDAY 20TH. The delegation representing the Way of Saint James, 2004 Prince of Asturias Award for Concord, is to participate in the pilgrimage which will begin at Oviedo City Council. PRESS CONFERENCES SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY 20TH Bert Vogelstein, Jean Daniel and Claudio Magris to meet the 2004 Prince of Asturias Awards-registered journalists. AWARDS CEREMONY TO HAVE SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION SERVICE The audience will be able to listen to a Spanish version of the speeches delivered by Claudio Magris, Jean Daniel, and Viviane Reding, European Commissioner of Education and Culture.
